Dubai-based Arrow Labs closes $5M Series A fundraise

Arrow Labs, the Dubai-based Tech startup and workflow management platform has successfully closed a $5M Series A funding round. In one of their first investments in the MENA region, this round was led by Draper Associates with the participation of Global Ventures and B&Y Ventures.

Founded in 2011, Arrow Labs transforms the way companies manage field resources through smart technology, keeping deskless frontline workers connected. Through their fully integrated platform accessed from any device or wearable,  Arrow Labs connects employees, machines, and facilities delivering flawless workflow execution. The platform reduces operating costs by 20%, increases staff productivity by 30%, and business efficiency by 40%.

Arrow Labs is yet another MENA-based startup on the path to disrupting work models, focusing on integrating tech and automation to connect deskless workers. Commenting on their ingenuity in creating solutions for employees on the move, Founder & Managing Partner of Draper Associates, Time Draper highlights “For many years, investment in critical remote working tools has focused almost exclusively on office based staff. This has caused front-line workers to become disconnected. This is a global issue, affecting hundreds of millions of people, and a solution is required. Arrow Labs’ technology has really caught my eye. They have built the solution the world needs, which is already being used by some of the biggest global brands.”

Arrow Labs has experienced high growth in enterprise customer acquisition and geographic coverage, onboarding clients in MENA, Europe, and the United States, with industry leaders in telecoms, oil and gas, and logistics sectors. Yet this funding is surely a turning point for the startup. Reflecting on this milestone,  Founder &  CEO of Arrow Labs, Rami Darwish comments “Securing such strong financial support and backing from investors such as Tim Draper is transformative for our business. The funds will support our growth, further development of our MIMS platform, and accelerate our journey to connect the 80% of the global workforce that is deskless.”

The Tech startup plans to use these newly acquired funds to further develop its platform, enhancing its machine learning capabilities, and expand into new markets especially boosting growth in its US market. As an initial investor in Arrow Labs, Noor Sweid, General Partner at Global Ventures concludes “We are strong supporters of reverse innovation and emerging market founders building cutting-edge technology with both regional and global potential, and Rami is definitely one such entrepreneur. We are thrilled to be a part of the next chapter of Arrow Labs.”
